Ramblings..

My little boy is growing way to fast! I am packing up most of his clothe in favor of six month clothing. He is not even three months old yet!
However.. he is healthy, happy and bring me so much joy, so I don't mind terribly.

You know when random people come up to you because you have a newborn? Does it ever make you uncomfortable when they try to touch your child without asking? It makes me really uncomfortable, I often stop to wonder if they are sick or something. Maybe this is an irrational thing, but I don't like it.

Well, I don't have a whole lot to say today, I have two sickies I have been taking care of for the past two days. My husband and baby boy have a pretty nasty cold/fever ect.

A Rough Start

My life as a young mother started off a little rough.
Let me start from the beginning.
My husband and I were both ecstatic when we found out I was pregnant. My pregnancy went extremely well, no complications other then my feet swelling up like melons and back aches, but nothing out of the norm.
I my water broke July 11th 2014, however the little one did not make an appearance until the next evening.
All day on the 11th I had sporadic contractions, then they went away over night and didn't start back up until 10:00 a.m the next day.
It was an all natural breech home birth and only by lots of prayer did things go smoothly.
That is until he was born. His heart beat had been strong and steady through the whole birth, but he still came out not breathing. His color was great, his heartbeat still steady, but my precious baby boy wouldn't breath.
We called in an ambulance and they put him on oxygen and finally got him breathing. Though he had to be flown to a hospital a couple hours away do to seizure activity. I had barely gotten to hold him before he was taken away again. It was heart breaking. My husband went with him and I was to stay home and rest so I could come up the next day with my parents. I had gone into shock, my body was so drained I could not go that night.
It was a little less then week of him being on hypothermia treatment before I could hold him again. I was so happy to have him in my arms again. He stayed at the hospital for two weeks. The doctors were so surprised he recovered, I thank God for helping my little boy heal so quickly an everyone for the prayers they spent those two weeks praying for us.
We finally got to take him home and he is doing absolutely amazing now.
I am so proud of him and can't wait to record many adventures with my beautiful family for you guys. :)
